Phase 2. The part we make money on.

Your last rep left in month six.
Ours cannot afford to.

This is not a self-serve line item. Readiness, management, replacement terms and the commercial model are agreed in a written addendum before a closer starts.

Book 20 minutes with Scott Start with the pipeline

There is no skipping to this part.

A closer goes onto a calendar that already fills, or does not go on at all. The rest of this page is why.

Belief one

The leak is not lead volume.
It is who picks up the meeting.

The founders we talk to have usually already bought more pipeline. More dials, a bigger list. Then the meetings land, and six months later half of them do not. The meetings did not get worse. The person taking them did, or stopped taking them at all.

The same calendar, month six

More of the first calendar will not fix the second.

Belief two

You have run the default fix already.

You hire a rep. You write the job ad at eleven at night and interview between your own calls. Month one, they learn the product. Month two, they shadow you, which means you are still on every call, now with an audience. Month four, they can finally run a meeting without you in the room. Month six, they leave. A bigger base somewhere else, a shorter commute, a company whose name their parents recognise. You paid for the ramp. They took it with them.

That is not your bad luck. That is the job. It goes the same way for founders who hired carefully and paid well.

Then you are back on the calls.

  1. Month one Hired
  2. Month two Ramping
  3. Month four Finally competent
  4. Month six Gone

Then you are back on the calls.

Belief three

Hunger beats polish.
The accent is the mechanism.

This is our thesis. We will defend it on the call. A closer in Glasgow or Manchester is looking at a home market that is not buying. A US company with a calendar that fills is a step up, and they know it. So they stay, and they work it. A comfortable rep in Austin has other offers in their inbox. A UK closer has yours.

Then there is the voice. Your prospect has heard the American sales call so many times the brush-off is muscle memory. That muscle was trained on an American voice. It takes three seconds to notice this one is not, and by then the real question is already asked.

What they expect to hear

What they hear

Three seconds

Your prospect has a script for getting rid of an American salesperson. They do not have one for a Scot.

US rep at month six

  • Has other offers in their inbox, and reads them.
  • Knows your product well enough to be bored of it.
  • Treats your pipeline as the line on a CV that gets the next job.
  • Sounds like everyone else who called your prospect this week.
  • Leaves you writing the job ad again at eleven at night.

UK closer

  • Home market is not buying. Yours is.
  • A US pipeline is the best job in the room.
  • Sounds like nobody else who called your prospect this week.
  • Reports to Alba, so the awkward conversations are ours.
  • Commercial terms follow the pipeline readiness review and are settled before the seat starts.
The readiness gate

We do not place a closer
on an empty calendar.

A closer with nothing to close does what your last rep did: waits, then leaves. So the order is fixed. Phase 1 is the pipeline. You close the first meetings yourself. Then the closer takes over.

Closers do not fail at closing.

They fail at waiting. Put a good one on a thin calendar and they spend the first quarter losing their nerve, then their interest. Every step below exists so yours never has to wait.

Phase 1 has a price tag. This page does not print it.

See the prices

One promise attaches to Phase 1. Every business day we are late launching your caller, for a reason that is ours, is a Service Day added to your term. Clause 3.8, not goodwill.

The graduation path

Four steps, and the last one is not yours.

  1. 01 Phase 1

    Buy the pipeline

A trained caller on the phone, or the email and LinkedIn pair. Priced on the pricing page, to the dollar.

  2. 02 Phase 1

    You close the first ones

Nobody knows the offer like you. Your calls become the playbook the closer is trained on, so they inherit what works instead of guessing at it.

  3. 03 The gate

    We read the calendar together

Show rate, meeting quality, deal size, sales cycle. If the calendar cannot feed a closer yet, we tell you and keep building. Nobody is placed on hope.

  4. 04 Phase 2

    The closer takes the calendar

They walk into meetings you have already been closing, with your playbook in hand.

Twenty minutes

The commercials

Readiness first.
Commercials settled before the seat starts.

Scott verifies the pipeline before a closer is offered. The addendum then settles eligibility, management, replacement terms and the commercial model before the seat starts.

The readiness review checks held qualified-call volume, deal economics, current ownership and the management capacity around the seat. An incomplete review does not produce an automatic placement.

Quarterly prepay bills the caller's hours at what we pay for them. Monthly flexibility carries a caller premium, and the dialer and data carry margin on either cadence. Buying the pipeline does not commit you to a closer. That conversation comes when the calendar can support the seat, with separate terms agreed in writing.

Starter priced Growth priced Everything priced CRM build priced UK closer scoped after review What Alba does
  • Recruits We find them in the UK and say no to most of them. Eligibility, management, replacement terms and commercials are confirmed after readiness review.
  • Trains On your pricing and the objections you get most, before they take a single meeting in your name.
  • Manages Day to day, the closer answers to Alba. You get closed deals. The direct report is ours.
  • Coaches On their recorded calls, by people who have sat in that chair and taken the brush-off themselves.

You get the recording of every call they take in your name. We listen to them too; that is the coaching.

Talk to us

Bring the calendar as it stands.
It knows before we do.

Twenty minutes with Scott, who founded Alba and takes the call himself. If the calendar is ready, we talk terms. If it is not yet, we tell you what to build first, and that part has a price tag.

Book 20 minutes with Scott Start with the pipeline Not ready for a call yet

Tell us a closer is where this ends. We note it against your name, and when the calendar can feed one, we open the conversation.

When do you want the closer?

Nothing is charged and nothing changes on your account. Terms get agreed on the call and written down at placement.

Questions

Asked on every call.

Hunger and the accent, in that order. The argument is the middle of this page. If you want it defended live, that is what the call is for.

Yes. A closer with nothing to close leaves, and we would rather lose the placement than watch that happen. If your calendar is already full without us, say so on the form and we skip ahead.

There is no self-serve price. Scott verifies pipeline readiness first; the addendum then settles management, replacement terms and commercials before the seat starts.

Alba. They report to us day to day. You see the closed deals and every recorded call. The one-to-ones are ours.

Closer eligibility, management, replacement terms and the commercial model are confirmed in a written addendum after pipeline readiness is verified.

An empty calendar
is not a closing problem.

Build the pipeline. Close the first ones yourself. Then hand over a calendar that closes without you in the room.
